OUR STORY
Celebrating 25 years!
We are home to a diverse population which welcomes folks of every race, income, sexual orientation and age.
Founded in 1995, we are a local association for the neighborhood known as Hilton in Maplewood NJ. We have monthly meetings to inform our neighbors about what is going on in the community and to enjoy catching up with our neighbors.
Hilton has affordable, well-kept homes, a vibrant branch of the library, a recently updated DeHart Park and playing field, and an attractive shopping area on Springfield Avenue.
The work of the HNA and the pride of its residents has helped Hilton become a coveted location for first-time buyers who were renters in Brooklyn and Hoboken.
Our Mission
Join Us!
All meetings are free and open to the public. We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM via zoom.
When it is safe to do so meetings will resume at the DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue.
The Mayor, Police Chief, Fire Chief and other Township officials often speak at the meetings to keep citizens informed. Our agenda includes issues that affect the residents, the character of the neighborhood, and other local concerns.
To become a member, fees are $15 for a single member, $20 for a family, and $10 for a senior citizen per year. Fees contribute to the printing and mailing of our newsletter, donations to several local and national organizations, as well as to residents in need.
